Welcome to Linguistic Team's Global Progress & Support Forum

:) Welcome: If you're unsure about how to get started, please log in and ask in a new thread in the Introduce Yourself section. ;)

[Today, 11:39pm] Ray: Font size adjusted back to a half-notch (.85em), to see how that feels to anyone paying attention to the all-important shoutbox. :p

[Today, 4:42pm] brunodc: The current font size makes it go bold on my browser which is a little much, I think. It makes unread threads super prominent and hard to read because of the tiny letter spacing. Switching from .9em to .8em looks fine to me

[Today, 3:59pm] ThorHusby: It's a bit faster now, Ray. Thanks! I didn't really notice the change in font size, but that might be because I'm using the zoom function in firefox @ 120

[Apr 17th 2015, 10:21pm] Ray: I also just kicked up the size of fonts one notch here in the forum. I tried 2 notches at first, but it really cluttered up the view. Feedback is greatly appreciated. ;)

[Apr 17th 2015, 10:04pm] Ray: Several items have been updated on the server, including some code to try to speed up browser loading of this forum. As always, please make me aware of any peculiar behaviors you might catch, folks. Your direct feedback is the only way I learn of any problems you might be dealing with.

[Apr 6th 2015, 11:53am] ThorHusby: Thanks Ray, thanks Brooks!

[Apr 5th 2015, 12:55am] Ray: For anyone 'following' the TZMOfficial channel in dotSUB, the migration of all LTI video projects over to the LTIOfficial account I set up a few years ago is finally completed. BIG kudos to Brooks, dotSUB's lead developer for all of his efforts on this! ^^

[Mar 27th 2015, 3:17pm] Di Anna: Welcome Sanju-Sama  to the English Team!

[Feb 28th 2015, 7:17pm] Pure.Mind: Yes there is and Ray is there too, yaay :)

[Feb 28th 2015, 6:50pm] Pure.Mind: Is there a TS meeting in 10 minutes?

[Feb 28th 2015, 8:17am] Pure.Mind: Ok Ray, thanks for the clarification ;)

[Feb 27th 2015, 8:09pm] ralle4: I am starting a "Beginning English" class w/a few students, locally. One member of LTI will join us online. If others are interested please contact me. Class begins Wed March 4 @11:00am PST (7pm UTC)

[Feb 27th 2015, 7:49pm] Ray: @Pure.Mind:, you missed the big translate-a-thon, where we've now got it in 26 languages, but that project will convert immediately into a 'regular' project once it is released to the public sometime on Monday/Tuesday. It'll then be added to the "Open for Translation" board, where you'll find all of the materials that are currently available for translating (both videos & Pootle/text). ;)

[Feb 27th 2015, 6:58pm] Pure.Mind: How do we get to translate The Choice is Ours?

[Feb 24th 2015, 2:49am] Doogy2Shoes: thanks Alldi,will do

Do you know?...

The 'Repository' refers to LTI's long-term storage system where our finished subtitle translations are kept safe from harm and readily available for download by anyone. These 'Repository' locations are 'clones' of all fully completed working locations where we translate (dotSUB) and they are all currently listed in the LTI Wiki Repository page within different tabs according to their original source. As a result, these are the only locations that should be given out publicly when someone needs a translated video file (SRT).
Only completed Repository subtitles will be included as a huge part of the LTI Public Portal (under construction),
a major global distribution center of everything that has ever been completed within LTI.
