Linguistic Team International Forum

Welcome to Linguistic Team's Global Progress & Support Forum - The official all-volunteer 'Translation House' of TVP & TZM

Did you know... ?

If you come across a word or phrase that is not obvious in meaning (either you don't know the term/phrase,
or you feel it may be difficult for someone new to the RBE concept to understand fully without help),
please post it in the Glossary section of the forum so it can be added to the master glossary used by all teams.

:) Welcome: If you're unsure about how to get started, please log in and ask in a new thread in the Introduce Yourself section. ;)

All Coordinators and Language Team 'veterans' should add that board to their Favorites.

Also, Watch the Shoutbox for some special announcements! ;)

[Feb 6th 2016, 4:27am] Ray: A wonderful message to everyone who contributed to the recent "The Choice Is Ours" Translate-a-thon: "We are so very grateful for all the hard work from those who helped with the translations for The Choice is Ours. We know it must have been a tremendously intense effort to finish within the tight deadline that you had and we are always amazed at the extremely professional job that you accomplish under the pressure of the deadlines you work within. You enable it to be exposed to so many more people and we can’t thank you enough for that. You are all amazing! Roxanne Meadows and Joel Holt"

[Jan 30th 2016, 2:26am] Ray: And with that finally out of the way, we now have a very short "Acute Priority" video with a deadline of 'as soon as possible'. This is a 1.5 minute promotional video for Jacque's "Centennial Celebration" event, which will be held on March 12th, the day before he turns 100. The more languages we can quickly get this in, the better. :* http://forum.linguisticteam.org/language…arch-12th-2016/

[Jan 30th 2016, 2:22am] Ray: The Choice Is Ours Translate-a-thon is finally converted to a 'normal' LTI project! Every language that had ANY translation work within the older "TCIO Parts I & II" working location has been migrated over to the new one, and hopefully I didn't mess anything up during the adjustments to the new transcription. ^^ http://forum.linguisticteam.org/language…e-is-ours-full/

[Jan 23rd 2016, 10:06am] Ray: Well, it's been a long road to get to this point (not necessarily unusual), but the TCIO Final Reviewers are now 'doing their thing' in dotSUB to put the finishing touches on everyone's hard work throughout the TCIO Translate-a-thon! ^^

[Jan 11th 2016, 5:32am] Ray: Here's a little quote from Roxanne about all of the folks helping with the TCIO Translate-a-thon: "You guys and gals are FANTASTIC!!" ^^

[Jan 9th 2016, 10:38pm] Ray: I just received word that the TCIO video will not be ready to set up the final reviews in dotSUB until Mon/Tues at the earliest, and will more likely take a bit longer. So, I am extending the deadline to the 12th, for now, and may need to extend it further as we approach the 12th. For the teams that need the extra time, this is really good news! ^^

[Jan 8th 2016, 10:45pm] Ray: With two days remaining before the TCIO Translate-a-thon deadline, I'm very happy to report that half (13) of the participating teams are now finished with all of the 'sheet work' and are currently awaiting arrival of the video so we can begin the final review stage. ^^

[Jan 3rd 2016, 9:46pm] zedom: The CGI looks amazing! A completely new package

[Dec 8th 2015, 6:09am] Ray: ^^ ^^ The big "The Choice Is Ours [FULL]" Translate-a-thon is now officially underway! The 'nitty-gritty' details are available at: http://forum.linguisticteam.org/language…anslate-a-thon/ ^^ ^^

[Dec 6th 2015, 11:43am] zedom: welcome HaBe

[Dec 6th 2015, 1:31am] Ray: Welcome, HaBe!

[Dec 5th 2015, 5:40pm] ralle4: HI, HaBe! Welcome to Lti. :) So happy to have you among us. :)

[Dec 5th 2015, 1:31am] HaBe: Hi all from Germany! :)
