Receiving notifications regarding upcoming events

So far, we can only be notified of upcoming birtdays, it would be nice if we could be notified of upcoming TS meetings, or important events we could be a part of...

Unfortunately, this Calendar does not support that feature. The B'Day notices are controlled directly by the B'Day module, which only shows B'Days in the calendar if the Calendar module also exists in an installation of WBB.

I was wondering about the same thing actually. One of the downsides of a forum is that, unless you're subscribed to all the threads that are relevant, you will have to actively check the entire board in order not to miss anything. Is there any way to subscribe to whole forum sections like it was possible on the TZM forums? So for example, if someone posts a new thread in our team subforum, I would be notified about it?
The way I see it, a big problem with the e-mail groups was the volume of e-mails coming in, so maybe the forums can help us cut back on so many e-mails, and instead only send very very important things by e-mail.

Yes, if you subscribe to a forum, you're automatically subscribed to its subforums. So that helps. :)

Oh, I see! So it's that "Add to favorites" link at the bottom of the page that lets me subscribe. I'll be testing it to see how it works. :D
