hello :)

what is Sociocyberneering? is this a one word, or a name? because i don't know how to translate it.
Here is the full sentence :)
"Jacque Fresco is the founder of Sociocyberneering, Inc., now known as The Venus Project."

thank you ^______^

Hi Mayaaaaaa!! :clown: This is the pinkest smilleyI have found in the list available bellow. I hope you like it! Too bad we don't have a rainbow!! I know you like them

I forgot to tell you that we have a GLOSSARY!! where those words are being collected when someone finds a term or expression that they aren't sure about the meaning. (click on it :idolize: )
Then, the English Proofreaders, and everyone else who wants to help, go and complete it with meanings, synonyms and some more useful stuff.
I think that word is already there :seymour: YEAH! Line 350!! found it

If what is there seems too little to help out in the translation of that term, ask here more specifically what are your doubts. We have a lamp with a genie that we only use as a last resource. But as this is about changing the world beyond war, poverty and politics... I think we can wake him up (:cheer: Hey Ge niiee)

I am not a genie, but I sometimes play one on the internet!

The term "Sociocyberneering" is a legal business name, much like Delmonte, IBM or General Electric. Most languages do not translate these, since they are all proper names/titles.

P.S. It's wonderful to see you here, sweet Maya! :bighug:

Hi, just saw this post and thought I'd add: it looks also to be a combination of words that he chose to describe his venture, possibly eg: sociology, cyberology (or cyber something) and engineering.

definitions below taken from:

the Free Online Dictionary:
sociology: 1. The study of human social behavior, especially the study of the origins, organization, institutions, and development of human society.

the Urban Dictionary:
cyberology: the study of the Internet and its applications; Internet science.

the Free Online Dictionary:
engineering: 1.a. The application of scientific and mathematical principles to practical ends such as the design, manufacture, and operation of efficient and economical structures, machines, processes, and systems.

Kinda makes sense. :)
