Hello everybody!

Hi guys, my name is Joscha and I'm from Germany. I have no particular skills in a technical sense really as I'm still studying. My subject is Market Research, maybe that's of any use?!
I spent some time abroad and know how important international communication is to be able to bring about any positive change for the global society.
I think it's great what you are doing here and I'd be glad to be of assistance in translation matters.

Hi Joscha!! It is a pleasure to see your introduction here!! I am compiling these "introduction" texts and publishing them, as they are inspiring for other peopleto join too. Would you mind if I share yours, with or without reference to your name, username?

What would you like to help translate? Any preferences in the source of the material or its format?
If you scroll down the forum you might find a lot of what you need to start. Maybe say "Hi" in the German team section too, so they help you integrate. And feel free to ask anything you need if you don't find it ;)

hugs

Of course you can publish the introduction! :)
Is there an overview of the topics you normally work on so I can find preferences?

Thanks! I will ; )

In this section of the forum you can find all video projects, and you will notice some are originated in the Venus Project, some in the Zeitgeist Movement and others come from other sources.

In Pootle you have the text materials, and they have more orless the same sources as the videos.

If you take any project, let the other German volunteers know about it through a forum thread ;)

There are some tutorials too, on how to transate on dotsub, for videos, and on Pootle, for text based materials.

Pootle was updated just recently, so the interface and maybe some features might be different from that tutorial :whistling:

Hey, also if you have a fb account you can join the German group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/205417089532268
There you can find updates about what's being done at the moment and you can connect to different people who are also working there.

I don't know whether it's allowed here to write in native languages so I just went on with English :P
If you have further questions you may also ask me/send me a pm here (in German if you like :P)
