New Guy

Hello,
My name is Patrick but please call me Paddy. I have been following the project for a couple years now and have been looking for an opportunity to help.
I am an Aircraft engineer by trade but have been self teaching myself Danish for a few months, although I am not fluent, I was wondering if I could use what I have learnt so far to help. if not any advice/help learning would be greatly appreciated. My birth language is English so if any assistance is needed in the English team I am more than happy to lend a hand.

Greetings Paddy! - and welcome to the family.

What we focus on in the English Dept is mainly producing master English SRT files (closed captions) for the active TZM and TVP vids that come our way, so the translation teams can translate them to other languages from there. For example, check out this recently completed vid (click the CC button to expose the captions):

If this is something you think you'd like to help out with, reply back and we'll get you started.

Sincerely

David aka Mr_Z

Feel free to reply back after your little bootcamp above, of if you feel confident you can just claim a video and start captioning.
