Non-Violent Communication - Expressing and Receiving Gratitude. (Multiple issues)

English is not my first language, but I'm giving this a try.

I don't know who worked on this transcription, since I couldn't find any posts about the work done in dotsub on it.

Here are my suggestions. My suggestions are in the second line. Any strings without are there to provide context.

She said "What do you mean?
She said "What do you mean?"

But I can see in your eyes that you want to

0:48
express some gratitude. Yes, and I want to receive it.
express some gratitude. "Yes!" And I want to receive it, but
(It seems strange to me that the woman says "Yes, and I want to receive it." Why should she, in this case, receive gratitude? It also seems, by the way he is saying it, that he is referring to his own need when he says "And I want to receive it." As in her gratitude. It sounds like he is continuing his sentence with 'but'. Maybe there is something I'm not getting here.)

It doesn't help me to be told what I am. What do you need to hear?
it doesn't help me to be told what I am. "What do you need to hear?"

1:07
"Oh I got you! I got you!" She opens up her notebook,
"Oh I got you! I got you!" She opens up her notebook. (Period instead of comma.)

See? That helps me now. OK!

So I said to this woman:

1:49
could you tell me how you feel now

as a result of me having said those two things?"

Those two things you said met my need for some concrete direction.

If it took the bus, I'd have an hour less time. "It's nothing."

Jackals have this dangerous concept in their head: "deserve".

4:32
If you believe in deserve, you think certain things are "worth things".
If you believe in deserve, you think certain things are 'worth things'. (Since this is not a direct quotation, I'm putting it in single quotes.)

I think your kind is the kind that Golda Meir, the Israeli prime minister

that we have enormous power to make life wonderful.
