This phrase seems badly structured.....
Watching you giving an interview at 1974 (to Larry King back then), surely comes as a surprise in terms of predicting society’ s future and suggesting alternative ways of thinking.
Any suggestions?

This seems a bit risky to put the page number, depending on the publishers and the size of the book, number of pages etc....it might not be page 19.

We also go into this in the book The Best That Money Can’t Buy, by Jacque Fresco, above on page 19 in the chapter "From Superstition To Science."

Where is this, Vixi? My cristal ball refuses to help me. She is a bit depressive lately.

Sorry Rod, that was a boob on my part, lol.
The first bit is paragraph 129 in Pootle.
The reference to page 19 is in paragraph 136 in Pootle.

They are here, at the bottom: http://www.thevenusproject.com/en/jacque-fresco/interview

Maybe you could just omit the page number. He also says the name of the chapter, so it shouldn't be a problem.

And yea, there are several questions that are really not structured/expressed in the best way, but at least we can comprehend their meaning and make them not so awkward in the translation.

Error in TVP website?

Hi there!

Is this the right place to notify about possible errors in the VP website (original content)?
(I'm looking at the last update for the page I'm translating, from 23 January 2012)

Thanks

Mistakes

Errors in homepage menu and "Resource Based Economy" page

Errors in homepage menu and "Resource Based Economy" page
Menu > THE VENUS PROJECT > Resource Based Economy (should be Resource-Based Economy)
Same goes for any instance of that expression in the aforementioned page.
http://www.grammar-monster.com/lessons/h…_adjectives.htm

Errors in "City Systems" page

proposes a Research City that - proposes a research city that
http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/Capitalizing-Proper-Nouns.aspx
(It seems to me that in this instance [line 2], "research city" is a common noun, as it describes a nonspecific research city. On the other hand, "Circular City" down the paragraph is correctly capitalized, as it is specific, thus making it a proper noun.

as in The Venus Project this would be consider(ed) socially offensive and counterproductive

pre-stressed - prestressed

Books such as 1984 and Brave New World, and motion pictures such as Blade-Runner and Terminator 2 - Book and movie titles in Italics

FAQ number 44;
but there are would be so many advantages of living in this type of city.

Are, or would....but not both :D

Just found something else we think needs looking at.
In city systems.
The design centers are beautifully landscaped in natural surroundings.
The buildings themselves can't be landscaped, the land around them is. Perhaps the line should read "The design centers are in beautifully landscaped, natural surroundings."
