"Recent Activity" Box Invisible

Some members have mentioned to me that they cannot see the "Recent Activity" box in the main forum page, therefore they cannot stay informed about new posts in the forum. Is there any way to make it visible?

The strange thing is that I think the box has always been visible to me since I logged in.

Can you ask them to log in and make a screenshot of the forum area just below the Shoutbox?

I have never received any feedback from anyone making use of the Recent Activity box, so, as part of my effort to simplify the forum for members who have complained about it being too complicated/complex/cluttered, I removed that display from their view. Project managers and beyond can still see it, but not regular members.

What are project managers? Also, if the activity box is invisible, how can one know what's new in the forum (except for their subscriptions)? I personally find it very useful because I can see the new and unread posts.

A Project Manager is basically a veteran member of a team that the team coordinator sets up to handle the overall management of a single project (great approach for mentoring a new co-coordinator, for example). It generally applies to larger language teams, but there are situations where such an approach makes sense for a smaller team, as well (for example, easing a single coordinator's burden so they can focus specifically on team-building promotion for a while).

You make a good point. I'll reinstate it for regular members and see what, if any, feedback we get from it.
