A Conversation with Jacque Fresco

Hi guys!

I need some help translating this term: service. All i can think is service as in a mechanical service, but i don't see the meaning of the sentence like, you get out of the car and the car drives it self all the way to a workshop to do maintenance... All i need a simpler, a logical way to put that in portuguese.

08:38 till 08:46 You drive very well-designed cars, and when you get out of that car,it goes to service automatically; it's maintained.

Thanks.

Hi, Nelia,

The 'service' in this sentence is a mechanical service, indeed. In other words, the car will receive whatever it needs to keep it in working order. In today's culture, that might be oil & filter change, a tune-up, new tires, etc.

How about: "You drive very well-designed cars, and when you get out of that car, it goes to be maintained all by itself."

Does that help?
((hugs)),
Di
