UK Parliament: "Money is Debt"

On Thursday 20th November 2014, for the first time in 170 years, UK parliament has debated the creation of money. Few people know that over 90% of the world's money supply is created not by the government (or the central bank), but by commercial banks in the form of loans. In other words, money is debt and debt is money.

I think that people will be convinced more easily that money is debt, if they hear it from politicians rather than us, who "don't have any credentials".
