TZM Regional Townhall Meeting Q&A Session - June 21, 2011 in LA, CA

The Zeitgeist Movement's Townhall Meeting is a community forum for the public to engage the Movement's coordinators about root-cause understandings to social problems, and the solutions we advocate culminating in what can be termed a 'global, resource-based economic model.' This is the unedited public Q&A session that followed the meeting. ( 1:11:28 )

Good luck with this transcription, Georgy.

In case you're not aware, we put a lot of emphasis in respecting the guidelines when we transcribe, as it greatly facilitates the process of proofreading.

Here's a link to the guidelines

Thanks, Bruno!

Yes, I read the guidelines and I am trying to enforce them 100%. There are cases where I wish I could break them just a little :-)

Boy, this transcription takes some time... The timestamps are killing me! :-) I have completed 3:25 minutes so far :-)

Georgy.

Hi Georgy : )

Yes. The transcription takes time. But patience in the transcription will make the project flow during the other stages reall nice 8)
Dont stress with it. Do it with pleasure. Make pauses, specially before hard to solve "text structure/timming - puzzles" And remember that nothing has to be finished by who started. So feel free to move to another project, proofread or maybe try to transcribe using the offline software that Bruno explored with very good results: VisualSub. It makes you feel "the master of the subtitles" with all those technical possibilities :D

let us know what you think also, as it might help us develop the processes ;)

hugs,
Rodrigo (nomada)

transcribed... I just want to point out that last cca 20 mins is just no-speak footage after the "official end" of meeting, maybe considering cutting it out would be appropriate...

Sorry about the delay. I'll get it done this weekend. If that's not soon enough, feel free to assign it to someone else.
