Transcription DONE

This is one of my favorite videos :)

We already worked on in within the German Team: Believe Nothing (but understand as much as you can)

- 3 Translation(s) | Dotsub

As soon as this videos is proofread by LTI and open for translations - we can delete the working-location and repository in dotsub's tzmgermany-channel

Thanks to everyone who brings in their skills to professionalize this one :kewlness:

@Ray:

I can proofread this one :)

This is my first time proofreading. Hello proofreaders! Should I let anyone particular know that I want to start?

I noticed that when another person started speaking (not visible on video), you couldn't see that in the subs (Example: 6:17). @FrankySnatra: Hello Franky :) Could you add some indicators so that we see a change in speaker? Should I wait with the proofreading until that is done?

Thanks, guys.

You did it absolutely correct. Just write down in this thread when you start and when you finished.
The English team normally does proofreading directly in Dotsub. So if you want to learn the normal process you might write down you corrections directly in here: Working Location

You will need an account for that. If any problem occurs just let me know. I am also available via Skype most of the time so you will get an answer even quicker. My Skype account is written down in my profile.

Could somebody read over my corrections so far? Etherpad I'm not sure how much of the corrections is my responsibility, like string division correction, use of colon and semicolon and speaker indications. Is that up to me?
Personally, I work best when I have a clear set of responsibilities ;)

I'm two minutes in.

Thanks!

@ossi11111:

I'm done I think. It would be great if you or someone else can read over it :thumbsup:

As I've said above, I'm not sure how much the first time proofreaders do. I didn't do string division correction and 70 char checking. I was unsure about what punctuation to use in some of the longer sentences (Example: 04:07).

@ThorHusby Hey, mate. Currently, there are no active English translators. For any questions you might have, the LTI meetings are the best place. If you want to be notified about the meetings, you can join our Facebook Group. The next meeting is August 30 at 19:00 UTC on Teampeak. To come to the meetings, install teamspeak from HERE and then press HERE to be transferred directly, and look for the "Linguistic Team" Channel.

Cheers,
CP

Thanks for the suggestions, ThorHusby

I agree with most of them and would implement them.
Depending on a third-party proofreading-session this can be done.

Only one thing: since you would like to equip George Carlin's statement with quotation marks we need to consider to do that with Carl Sagan's quote as well.

Thank YOU very much and the upcoming 3rd proofreader :hey:
