Hello everyone, new volunteer here

Hey guys,

I'm in Montreal right now with the local chapter but I'd like to volunteer some extra time to help with video transcriptions. (As I watch a lot of them already it would be a better use of my time)

Besides it's always fun to learn a different aspect of TZM or TVP and how it functions :)

Let me know if there are any pressing projects, or even things in the past that haven't had a chance to be looked at .

Cheers

Marc

Welcome Marc!

As far as I can tell, all of the active video projects are fully transcribed, that is until the recent Z-Day's videos have been fully edited and released. We also have the first of TVP's three-part "The Choice Is Ours" documentary coming soon. All of those are likely to be good challenges when they arrive.

The current (very) pressing need is for careful English proofreading of already transcribed videos. There are currently 52 videos moving quite slowly through this focus, so let me know if this kind of focus piques your interest. If it does, I'll introduce you to the new PMS we're setting up for all of the language teams use.

Hugs,
Ray

Ok sounds good Ray.

I'll help out with the Z-day videos once they are released.
But in the meantime I can work on proofreading a bit too :)

Just let me know what has to be done and how to do it

Cheers

We could need your help here: Jacque Fresco-Depression, Predictability, Reinforcements-Sept. 5, 2011 (2/2)

We are close to finalizing the English transcript. However, we need someone who is familiar with English punctuation and has a quick look at the text in this regard. Maybe you are the one, we are looking for. :)
I am describing how it is done in the thread linked in this post.

Hey Marcy. I hope you're getting acclimated in the English Forum. As you can see there are a lot of projects waiting for proofreading. When someone is interested in a projects, he states it in the related thread so that others are aware of it. Same as when he/she is done with translation. Before starting proofreading, you might want to check these babies out
