In Desperate Need Of Linguistic Help

I need help drawing the syntax tree for the following sentence:

The US and
Cuba will be opening embassies in each other’s capitals in the biggest tangible
step in their joint bid for normality after more than 50 years of hostilities.

Please someone help I just can't figure it out.

I be back with a response a little later in the day.
((hugs))

Hi, germancrazyluggage  and @Ray:

I hope this will help you with the syntax tree. I have diagrammed the sentence and you can see it HERE (I hope).

Now, I'm going to explain it:

This is really just a simple declarative sentence in English construction. (That means is has only one subject and verb, although the subject is compound).

There is one compound subject: US and Cuba
The verb phrase is: will be opening
There is a Direct Object of the verb phrase: embassies
Everything else in the sentence is just a string of modifying phrases, called prepositional phrases. These phrases are diagrammed under the sentence part that they describe or modify.

If this doesn't help, just post your questions here, and I'll try to explain it another way.

((hugs)) from me,
Di

Oh, on the news just now I have heard the playing of the Cuban national anthem at the embassy opening ceremony. What a great step for peace in our world!

@Di Anna:, it looks like the syntax tree link is not working, as it leads to a "Sorry, that page was not found." message.

Okay, @Ray: Thank you.

Let's try it as a jpg attachment instead.

Keep fingers crossed. :S
