Canadian living in Portugal

Hi! My name is Diana, I am a 22 years old student living in Portugal. I was born in Montreal, Canada.
I am fluent in French and Portuguese, as I went to school in both of those languages. I also had a grade of 100% in Advanced English (that would be a 20 in the European system, or the maximum grade in any system).
I'm very good at translation (I already translated some official texts although they had to be approved and stamped by a legal translator) and proofread two e-books for friends.
I'm poking around the forum and will try to figure my way around :) If I have any questions, I will edit or post on this thread.
Thank you :)

PS.: I've known about TVP for one or two weeks but I am VERY dedicated to it already and I am doing my best to spread the word as much as I possibly can, online and offline.

Welcome, Diana

My name is Di Anna, too.

I work with the English Team at LTI. It seems you have lots of skills that you could use to help. As a Canadian, you are a native English speaker, so you could help transcribe and proofread on the English Team. But if you choose to use your translation skills, you could go to either the Portuguese Team or the French Team.@brunodc works with the French Team. @WurmD (Dario) works with the Portuguese Team.

So, I guess you'll just need to figure out which Team you would like to work with on LTI. Meanwhile, enjoy the Forum, look around and get comfortable. I'm sure you'll hear from Bruno and Dario too.

Glad to have here!
((hugs)) :bighug:

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm trying to adapt and understand how it works. It's a bit messy compared to other forums I've participated in hihihi :p
Is it possible to work with the three teams?
I don't know which one I would be more useful in :p Which one needs the most help?

Hi Diana,

Can you work with three teams simultaneously? Sure! But, we sure don't want you to overstretch yourself. :)

Which of the three languages is your strongest?

@dianadebastos: Hey, Diana. Welcome on board. Feel free to wander around the forum and express any suggestions you might have in order to make it better, hereand here. Now, about the teams you would like to contribute to, maybe you could try and see what fits you best. When I face a similar issue, I find it much more efficient when I try all of my options (if it's possible of course) and see in action what I am capable to do, because sometimes, when I just think about it in my head, what I want to do does not correspond to reality. Of course, this is only what helps me. That doesn't mean it will help you :)

In case Bruno or Dario have not reached out to you yet:
