Welcome to the English Team!

Hello Crypto

My name is Di. I'm a retired English teacher/librarian and I work with the English Proofreading Team. We're neighbors. I live in piedmont NC.

Now that you've come into the Community, the best way to start is by getting familiar with the place. In fact, there's a great section on the Forum called, Getting Started, and it's HERE. That informative little tutorial will give you the steps and procedures we follow to get a video ready for translation to the world. VERY IMPORTANT are the GUIDELINES that we follow to allow for consistency and clarity. They are also in the Getting Started section.

If you haven't yet, join the LTI Facebook page. It can be found HERE.

Be sure to complete your profile with all your contact information, like Skype, FB, email, etc. if you want us to know more about you.

Check out the Forum Threads, especially the English Language Playground.. You'll find there a list of the projects which are active at this time too.

And also, LTI has biweekly meetings on Saturdays. There's one today and it's on Teamspeak 3 server. These meetings are posted on the calendar at the top of the Forum main page. Here's more information about how to get to the meeting.

It's nice to have your offer of help. We desperately need English Team members. And we're very glad you've joined the family.

Love & hugs,
Di
