Hello, I'm Sašo from Slovenia

Hello great people of the linguistic team, I am Sašo Luznar from Ljubljana, Slovenia. I have been waking up actively for the last year now, catching up on real life instead of living in a fantasy. This whole year was crazy busy, but now no more, so I joined to help this great community of RBE believers. Except for a good understanding of English and some experience in translating, I don't have any direct skills (yet)to help in other fields.

I wanted to start with asking if The best that money can't buy has already been translated to Slovenian language, or if someone is in the process. I have just gotten the book shipped from Roxanne today.

Thanks for hearing me out! Good luck all

Hello, Sašo, and welcome to the team!

I can't give you information on whether someone is working on the translation of TBTMCB, but maybe you can ask the Slovenian language coordinator, Damec, who might know more about it. You can find his contacts on this page: http://wiki.linguisticteam.org/w/Categor…ge_Coordinators

Hey Sašo, how do we pronounce that funny "š" character?

Thank you Lizardman, I already found the page and have sent an email to Damec to coordinate. I am also not very familliar with the tools you guys are using, but I think I will manage. I don't know if there is anyone to proofread, although I have done that too, but it is always best if someone else does it, do double check.

As far as my accented Š, it is an English equivalent of sh for instance as in brush, lush, share etc. And we also have Č which is the equivalent of tch, and Ž that is a bit more tricky... like G in giraffe, or g in beige, or J in Jaque... Just by the way ;)

Yeah, proofreading by someone else (or even more than one person) is very important and we've definitely seen the benefits of this method here. :)

If you need anything else, just shout. ;)
