Norwegian translator

Hello people :-D

My name is Are and I'm a norwegian-english translator, I don't have many skills in regards to IT og internet/media management, but hope that I'll be able to learn more skills through this forum.
I am a good and experienced public speaker though, and I have an interest for details and understanding as much as possible.
My passion is to help spread the good word :)

I would appreciate a walkthrough of the systems and pages you use here and translating tips from more experienced people as to how one can translate as quickly and effectively as possible.

Best regards
Are

Hey Are, nice to meet you and welcome to the team!
  • A presentation of the team
  • The wiki, where you'll be able to find a ton of information, including tutorials about our two main translation tools, dotSUB and Pootle
The thing I would also recommend is to contact Jinx, who as far as I know is the Nowegian team coordinator, who should be able to tell you more about how those tools are used within the Norwegian Team. (Each team has its quirks :)) Hope you'll feel right at home, and don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any. Hugs
