Hopefully joining the English to French translation team.

Hi everybody,

I really enjoyed doing translation at uni. If I can be of any assistance to text or video translation, it would be my pleasure to do so in my time off. I am French, living in the U.K. and I am 48. I speak French, English and Spanish. I studied English (civilisation, literature and language) at the university of Michel de Montaigne - Bordeaux III, let's say, a while ago. I always wanted to use these skills I have but never could. Let me know if I can be of service.

Pascal.

Hello Pac47!

Your talent is greatly sort after in this Forum! Thank you for setting aside some time off your busy schedule to help a good cause we all believe in. Allow me to share a few things I've learnt to get myself orientated to this HUGE goldmine!

There is a tutorial slide show posted not a while ago by a user (NOMADA), offering you the essential tools you might need to use for
translation, commonly used by the LTI team : http://prezi.com/dxvqeoibtuxw/how-to-joi…s-translations/ . Trust me once you tinkered with a few buttons here and there you will be on your way to translating Codex full of scripts in no time! It's really simple!

Hope this helps Pac47! Welcome to the team!
