TZM Defined (new orientation guide)

Hey! : )

What means "Sourcing Solutions", number 4 in the table of contents of TZM Defined Part 1/4?

It is translated as "finding solutions" and while reviewing I realized I don't know exactly what 'sourcing' means here

The table of contents is also different from the version from which the portuguese is translating. That seems to point that the original has changed, sometime between launch and now.

It seems to be a kind of play on words
'Sourcing' generally means going directly to the source of information & verifying the validity of a concept or approach (including the use of citations & references for written 'factual' information).

Unfortunately, this highlights one of the dangers inherent in translating global projects outside of the official working locations. Pootle has the up-to-date text and makes all translation teams aware of it by automatically marking as "Fuzzy" any strings that change once a project is initially added.

Can you say what exactly has changed? I don't see any changes, except that the Preface is included in PART I in Pootle. That isn't important though, as it's just the .po files being put in folders for better organization.

On the left is the version that the PT team is basing its translation upon, in GTT. On the right is the copy from the original in the TZM site.

That part isn't in Pootle. In Pootle it starts from the Preface. It doesn't have the table of contents and the text about what parts are being added.

Ok. thanks for clearing it up :)
In the diffcheker there are 2 or 3 more parts where the text changes, a bit further down.

String 1242781

Any ideas what's that supposed to mean?
"It is as though the species is marching farther back into the apex of a three-dimensional triangle, laid on its back, with its edges sloping quickly down, once passed over."

Context:
"In some ways, the rapid development of science and technology is pushing humanity into a corner. It is as though the species is marching farther back into the apex of a three-dimensional triangle, laid on its back, with its edges sloping quickly down, once passed over. One side is a negative acceleration into social and ecological decline and the other a positive acceleration into an age of abundance, balance, peace and progress. As time moves forward, the farther we move back into this apex, the less space we have. At some point, we are going to succumb to one side or the other."

First of all, what does "on its back" refer to? The species or the triangle? And what does "edges sloping down" mean? Also, how can you march INTO an apex? I thought 'apex' is 'top'. And why "march BACK"?
