The Venus Project Press Kit

Roxanne suggested the VP Press Kit to be the top priority item to be translated by the Linguistic Team.
The Press Kit is already in Pootle, but the PDF includes images that contain English text. The text within those images also needs to be translated so they can be included in the resulting, fully translated PDFs. These text items will be soon added to the project within Pootle. Please note that TVP has a process for reconstructing the PDFs once a team completes and is happy with their final proofreading.

This Press Kit will become a great tool to be used in activism, when doing expositions, screenings, street activism and whatever more. When needing something to send to the press telling what is TVP about, this is it

Here is the Working Location: http://pootle.linguisticteam.org/ar/tvp_press_kit/

You have to be registered, chosen your language and selected the project in your settings, so that the language coordinator can set you up to submit text. Use the "submit" button if there is no text in the box. Use the "suggest" function if there is already a suggestion in the submit box, so this wont disappear.
And most important, enjoy and share your thoughts and doubts/difficulties. :kewl:

sallam

Thank you for coloring our forum section with your joy Maya!!! 8o

You are set up on Pootle to be able to "Submit" and"Suggest" text. Ray just told me.

Use "Submit" always that there is no text in the translation box  And use ONLY "SUGGEST" when THERE IS ALREADY text in the translation box, so that the existing text, from you or any other translator, don't be flushed away forever ;)

have fun there!! And post if you have any questions, doubts with English or Arabic expressions/terms, or when you finish, or if you abandon the project for some reason.

Maya is done translating this. So the project is open for proofreading  Use only the "suggest" button, except if there is no text in the translation box; then you can use "submit". But if there is text, the "suggest" function will allow to keep all the suggested translations still integral, instead of being lost for good.

Have fun ^^

Can anyone review Bianca's effort?
Maybe we can finally confirm that this project is ready for public release. :fc-victory:
