TVP Press Kit (PDF)

The Venus Project Press Kit

Roxanne suggested the VP Press Kit to be the top priority item to be translated by the Linguistic Team.

This Press Kit will become a great tool to be used in activism, when
doing expositions, screenings, street activism and whatever more. When
needing something to send to the press telling what is TVP about, this is it

Here is the Working Location: http://pootle.linguisticteam.org/ja/tvp_press_kit/

You have to be registered, chosen your language and selected the project
in your settings, so that the language coordinator can set you up to
submit text. Use the "submit" button if there is no text in the box. Use
the "suggest" function if there is already a suggestion in the submit
box, so this wont disappear.

And most important, enjoy and share your thoughts and doubts/difficulties.

Would you help me learn how to start translating via Poodtle?

Hi,
I logged into the Pootle and clicked the Press Kit because I wanted to start translating it into Japanese, but I could not type in any words. I have tried following the instructions, but I have not been able to make it work. Would any of you help me learn how to start translating via Pootle?

Welcome, Gentsanc.
The front page of Pootle contains the instructions needed for getting yourself set up to translate within it.
To sum it up, you first need to register within the program, and then log in, go into the Settings tab of your Profile and select the language (Japanese) and projects that you wish to work on. Pootle will then send me an email to let me know that your options need to be set up (so allow me a day or so to complete that part). Even with that summary, you should still read the front page to learn all of the details.

While you are waiting, you can practice with the Tutorial project in the Japanese section. It is open for anyone to use.

We are very glad that you are here.

Hello, Ray,

Thank you for your response. I think that I have just done what was kindly explained. I have done the wonderful Tutorial project in the Japanese section. I will wait for what I think I have done.

Thank you,

gentsanc
