2011-08-13 TeamSpeak Meeting - Proofreader's notes & captioning tools

Hey guys,

We've been putting together a little presentation to give you some feedback about the common errors that we find during the English proofreading and transcription process, in case you're interested.

This obviously us intended to the English language only, and is not meant to be taken as rule for all linguistic teams.

This presentation features some suggestions on how to correct those little mistakes that we find commonly, not to mention that these corrections might contribute to make the translation process easier my removing syntaxic elements that are unnecessary in some cases, such as punctuation. This of course doesn't mean that we want to get away from the original message, but instead we're trying to find a compromise that will increase the readability of our materials.

You'll find the presentation as an attachment to this thread. Feel free to give us comments on what is covered in this document.

This presentation is also available here as a Google Doc Presentation.
