Introducing myself

Hey everyone

I am new here.

I found out that we don't have transcriptions of TVP Seminars yet. So I did like to focus on helping to create them.
My native language is Hindi but I can do this well in English too and would initially do for English only.

I would like if someone can put light on this dark way, please. ;)

Thanks

Zircoz - My sincere apologies for my tardy reply. If you are still out there, you seem to have a choice.

If you want to help with Hindi translations, the Hindi team is at http://forum.linguisticteam.org/language…%80-hindi-team/

Unfortunately it is vacant so you would be the new Hindi coordinator.
Then take your pick from the list of 'Open for Translation' vids at http://forum.linguisticteam.org/language…-videos-dotsub/.

However is you want to help with English captioning:
The First-Timers Guide is here: http://wiki.linguisticteam.org/w/FirstTi…eral_Guidelines
The English Guidelines are here: http://wiki.linguisticteam.org/w/LTI_English_Guidelines
My "down and dirty" Guerrilla captioning tutorial is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlhD_TbXbjY
... and if you get through all that the list of Active projects is here: http://forum.linguisticteam.org/language…ctive-projects/
Feel free ro reply back after your little bootcamp above, of if you feel confident you can just claim a video and start captioning.
Sincerely
David aka Mr_Z
