Hm...?? Really? well..oops.

Do you remember that video we did? It was the interview in NY with the release of 'Moving Forward'? The difficult one. Didn't we use hyphens there, even though we could see them? Or was that done because there were so many speakers?

Sorry, if I've misunderstood. I thought we always used hyphens with change of speaker in any dialog. I'll readjust my rule. Would you like for me to go back and fix that? I'll be glad to.

When I say dialog, I mean when people are talking to each other, which is the case in the zeitgeist moving forward conference. In this example, we have Jacque talking, then Roxanne, then Jacque, but they're not talking to each other, they're talking to us. Also, there's a scene change in between speakers, I think there's enough of a visual cue for deaf people to follow things. Does that make sense? I have to review some strings on this one, some of them go outside the bounds of the guidelines, timing wise. Thanks for the note about missus, hihi :D

I have a question about this sentence : "the new social direction which will enhance their lives and others." Aren't we supposed to add a single quote for the possessive here, like this? "the new social direction which will enhance their lives and others'."

Ohhhh...geeze! I even misunderstood what you just said previously, as you will see by what I just posted under LingTeam Guidelines. I added that we need to fix the hyphen rule in Tea 'n Cookies. We should do something to make that clearer---for ME, especially! :riphair:

Hey sweet Di, have you seen the question I asked in the post right above yours? It's a little detail, but I'd be very interested in the answer :)

I would say YES...good find, Bru! Confusing because understood is the word 'lives' after others' which would make others' a possessive pronoun. Really says "...which will enhance their lives and others' [lives]."

Dag, you're GOOOD! :idolize:
