I suppose this has been proofread once by Joel since the subtitles have been published in the YouTube video. This video needs some timeshifting.

(Update from my original post) I cannot proceed with PR2. This vid needs significant timeshifting to clean up numerous long lines.

Timeshifting completed  Take a look at the notes I left.

This was one of the most pleasant talks of Jacque I have seen.

Thank you Prince Nomada, the long limes are cleaned up nicely! And yes I also reviewed your Notes.

I'll take PR2 on this.

OK, PR2 is complete, revised SRT is pushed out to the working location, and the analysis file is attached. I misplaced my original srt copy I started with and so cannot provide the diff file. If someone can send it to me great, if not, no big deal.

Final Reviewer: In some places it got a little dicey with properly annotating the dialog between the interviewer and Jacque; I'm not sure I got it all correct. Feel free to adjust these patches according to the guidelines, then I'll do a diff later to understand (and learn from) the edits made.

I'll take the Final Review

With special thanks to Mr. B for the 'heads-up' note on the dialogue issues in this one. I'll give it careful scrutiny. ^^

Final Review is done!

This is a delightful little video. I loved hearing Jacque talk about when he was a Christian and how the movie 'The Ten Commandments' led him to atheism. LOL...for me it was 'Moving Forward'. :ahaha:

Here's some notes that I added to the notepad too.

Notes from the Final Review by Di (5/4/2012)

Nice job from the team! Here's a few issues worth mentioning:

*We have agreed that we should transcribe expressions like 'gotta' as 'got to'. I have changed this.

*Capitalization: Whenever God refers to the supreme being, it should be capitalized. This is still traditional in English. I checked online sources and Mr. B's Gregg Reference Manual.
Also whenever personal pronouns refer to the supreme being, (like He or His), these should be capitalized as well.
The lower case 'god' is used when pagan deities are referenced, as in mythology. (the Greek god Apollo, for example).

(Side note: I'd like to change this English rule, but I'm afraid I don't have that kind of authority. LOL...)

To Mr. B: Nice job with the hyphens to show change of speaker between interviewer and Jacque.

((hugs)) to All :bighug:
