I just wanted to start R2 proofing of this lovely video but as I read the forum it's been through many rounds already? According to wiki it's still up for R2 xx

The video has been opened to translations, but I'm not 100% sure all changes were made. Hopefully, MrB or Nomada can confirm.

Again, we are waiting for Lady Di to OK and correct a critical typo.

Reply to Mr. B

That said Di Anna, I am seriously concerned about this edit made at 9:54
from my original:
> Basically it means that 'authentic' piece of it's important
to the present
> Basically it means that 'authentic' piece of 'it's important'

I'm sorry but I fail to see how this edit is justified, let alone it appears to throw a wrench into the grammar of the sentence. Stripping down Jen's sentence (or at least the sentence I see) to its core yields "[That 'authentic'] piece [of it] is important [because I know when someone is being fake with me.]" Again, seems obvious the noun-verb root is "[that] piece is important". But with your changes I am failing even to construct a sentence because you are placing the verb into a (separate) quoted string, resulting in a sentence with a missing verb: "That 'authentic' piece of 'it is important' because I know when someone is being fake with me." ??? Am I missing something here?

My apologies, Mr. B, I'm not sure how I missed this post, but oh well...thanks for skyping me about it. I have listened many times to this segment, and I'm having trouble understanding your interpretation, just as you are having trouble understanding mine. Ah...the joys of our imperfect language. :sigh:

What I hear is this: Jen talks about finding common values as we converse with each other about the concepts of the RBE. She is speaking about discovering what is 'authentic' in the 'it's important' part of our statements (conversations) with other people. Well, that's what I am understanding, which is why I punctuated it the way I did. Maybe we should have some others listen and help us decide the best choice, or maybe we should ask Jen just what she meant.

As for the timestamping, I leave this to Nomada and Bruno. That way I can focus more on the proofreading. And...they are super at following up after my reviews and fixing my messes. ^^

Again, I'm sorry I didn't see this post sooner.
((hugs))

I just emailed Jen with a clip of that part of the vid and this inquiry, and asked her to please clarify.

Jen's reply just moments ago, verbatim:

<start>
This is what I said:
> Basically it means that 'authentic' piece of it's important

But this is what I meant:
> Basically it means that [the] 'authentic' piece of it is important

To expand:
Authentic piece being not just agreement alone but ‘authentic’ agreement as the important piece of that statement.

So, Dave you were right on with your instincts there.

Hope this clears that up.
<end>

So Di, I hope this clears that up. If you wish I can forward you the email, just ping me at dave.il@thezeitgeistmovement.com.

Hi fellows! : )
So, in the end, is there any editing to do in the transcription?

Good job, Mr. B :clap:

Nomada, yes...I would say we need to change those lines as Mr. B originally understood them, since Jen confirmed his interpretation was the correct one.
What a great example this is on how to work as one to produce the best product possible!
Makes one proud! :)
