Timeshifting complete, I then went in again and proofed it and spellchcked it. I removed tons of commas, I hope I did a good job with it.

The video is now ready for a final review.

A final review & a challenge

Timeshifting complete, I then went in again and proofed it and spellchcked it. I removed tons of commas, I hope I did a good job with it.

Okay, m' Lord,
I'll take the Final Review, so I can give input to Ramona (she asked me to do that when she completed this one), and I'll take a look at all those missing commas LOL...

If any of you want to practice on our Guidelines and English standards before you do the next project, please feel free to take this PRACTICE EXERCISE. So far, the best score has been 3 incorrect answers. Anyone who beats that gets a chocolate chip cookie. ^^

((hugs)),

Brief input

Hey, Super EngTeam,
I'm just pausing briefly to let you guys know that I'm finding fewer mistakes on this FR, and it's warp-speed Ben's too. Grrrrrrreat job!

@Bruno: Commas (or lack of) are looking good. Thanks so much for taking them out!

@Ramona: Your notes are FANTASTIC. 8o I notice that you hesitated to make the corrections you noted in the actual text. Hey, girlfriend, it's okay to make the corrections too. ;) That might save some time, 'cause I'm finding you're 'right on'.

I'm not half-done yet, but I'll let you know when it's ready. Whew...does one get slower with age? Nah.... :noway:

Awww...thank you, Di. :) So glad the notes are helpful (I thought they might be, to make things faster for you :))...and, yes, I do hesitate; but thank you, now I know. I'll probably still defer some, tho, for a while, 'til I know I'm doing things correctly. :) Yay!!.. Ben's piece getting done. :)!

Final Review COMPLETED

Ben's lecture is READY! Yay... :cheer:

I am really impressed at the effort shown here from the whole team. This was not an easy lecture to transcribe, timeshift, or proofread; and I noted many improvements in the team effort. I noticed fewer run-on's & fragments (which is not an easy task because of Ben's quick British speech). I also noticed a nice job on many edits: unnecessary words like 'well' etc, had already been edited out before my turn came along.

Special kudos are sent to Ramona! :bighug: I know this was her first effort and she really put her 'heart, mind, and soul' into it.
@Ramona: Please go back into the notepad now. I have done my best to answer all the concerns you listed there. My only suggestion to you is: Go ahead and make the corrections as you believe they should be. It's not necessary to leave notes on everything you did, just what you feel is important for the translators or could be a special concern for the next proofreader.

@Bruno: Thanks for giving it a second look and removing commas. This was soooo much better because of it! You are always my hero! :idolize:

Ben's final words really inspired me:
"...our future generation will look back at our era with arguably more horror than we now look back on the prior societies of torture and brute violence...for we had the scientific understandings of what works and we did not act upon them."

Well, let's put this fine lecture out there for the world to act upon, okay sweet Nomada? :lashes:
Thanks again to all those who worked so hard before me. You're all HEROES!
Love y'all,
Di :loveya:
