Peter Joseph - Where Are We Now? - London, 2009

Peter Joseph's July 25th 2009 Zeitgeist Movement Lecture: London , UK. Entitled "Where are we now? Peter Joseph lectures on the unsustainable nature of the money-based economy – on cyclical consumption, planned obsolescence, corporate malfeasance and piles of poisonous waste, presenting The Venus Project as an alternative. ( 1:08:56 )

This lecture's English transcription was already proofread, but not time-shifted, since the time-shifting team didn't exist when LTI started working on it. It was later closed to correct the timings.
All translation teams need to re-proofread and adjust their translations according to the new timings. It is worth the work, as this video will flow into our minds like a sweet melody when we finish ;)

Please note that the dotSUB Working Location has changed.

I'm going to timeshift this one. I'll work offline and leave the video open for translations, until I complete the task. When I'm done, I'll save all the subtitles here and wait until the final reviewing is done.

When the video is ready I'll grab the saved subtitles and adjust their timestamps to fit the new ones, and the video will be permanently opened to translations.

I'm done with timeshifting, I've removed lots of spelling mistakes and weird transcriptions, I'm sure that I left some in there...

This video is ready for a final review.

Note: all attached SRT files are from prior to significant adjustments. They are only saved here for posterity.

Peter Joseph: Where are we now? - Translations are now reopened

As part of our final proofreading projects, the"where are we now" video will be reopened for transcriptions, which means that you won't have access to your translations. This will allow us to adjust the English subtitles according to the Linguistic Team Guidelines.

This will result in your translations losing their synchronization with the original transcription, which means that teams that already completed translations for this video will have to go through them one more time.

Hugs from the English team. :)

Why can't I edit Serbian subtitle in working location?

http://dotsub.com/view/dd83d532-7fcd-4a5c-a7f5-58f245ab4fe6

Seems that my language no longer exist! Only Serbo-Croatian (gone with the former Yougoslavia) and Croatian is listed.

I can download, but can't edit Serbian subtitle. Strange, because I translated it before.

Should I ask DotSub, or the problem can be fixed by administrators here?

...

It seems that none of the uploaded languages (Arabic, Bulgarian, Danish...) can be edited. They are just not listed in "Translate Into" box. Only new languages can be started.

Maybe I don't have enough authorization rights. I will ask Ana.

You can try Serbian again, it was set for only the owner to modify the translation, in other words nobody could change it!
