It appears that someone had made a few lines of the transcription. This is not a good practice, folks - if you'd like to contribute, the correct way is to assign yourself to the project, announce it here on the forum and then do whatever you can on the video. In other words, let's do team work. :)

I've deleted the existing transcription so you can upload your .srt file again, Suze. This time there will be nothing there, so you won't get any messages about subtitle lines overlapping with already existing lines.

Cool! I now see only one dotsub name in the subtitle contributors for this video, so everything should be fine. :)

I guess nomada or Di Anna will be moving this project to the next stage.

I have watched the first 2:16 minutes and the transcriptions has errors in it. This means the spanish translation is incorrect and perhaps the portuguese one too.
Amara doesn't offer us the same benefits as dotSUB does. We cannot protect the work once it's been proofread and amara does not give us the wonderful dashboard that dotSUB does.
Perhaps for the translators this doesn't mean much but for the proofreaders and the admins it means many hours of saved work.

What I try to say is that we can use the work done on amara to do easy our work on dotsub.

I really don't understand what you mean by make the work on dotSUB easier Iván.
You have already finished a version of a spanish translation and even had someone dub it. More problematical as I see it is that someone already posted that translation, with it's mistakes, on their facebook.
If the transcription progress is too slow for you, what is needed is to find more people for the english team, not start on another tool just because you want to get this particular video completed.
