Peter Joseph - Origins and Adaptations, Part II - Toronto Z-Day, 2014

In this presentation, Peter discusses how the Market Economy has not only evolved/simplified into its most core function of blind gain and the arbitrary trading of the "widget", using the Stock Market / Financialization as a point of focus, he also explains how any social progress that has occurred has happened "by proxy" - or incidental to the market game. Not sure what you meant there Eduard, but the transcriber will need to register a dotSUB account. Then when you go to the dotSUB video for this presentation, underneath the video details, there should be a "Caption Video" button, which leads to dotSUB's transcription page. There, anything that's transcribed will remain there until someone finishes the process. Then we'll have a proofreader on our team going in and furthering our proofreading process along.

I Hope that makes sense :)

Just checking in on this vid, and there are no captions yet.

@Ray: is the raw transcript available from Peter that we can use as a base for the subs?

I started and already wrote down the first 6 minutes or so. It's on my harddrive. Going to load it up. It's 75% accurate i guess.

Now about the accuracy. Do we need to trim it? If, you will need to do so, I wrote it all down.

We appreciate your efforts Friesen but maybe we don't have to reinvent the wheel here. Maybe a full transcript is available directly from Peter, which he has provided in the past.

Let's wait to hear from @Ray:

Yes, a member (Bruno de Carvalho) originally posted it on facebook, writing, that no transcription was available yet.

This one did not arrive here with a transcript, but I suggest asking him directly to see what he has for it.

Ask and you shall receive! Transcript attached, from Peter with regards. Although coarse and having very little format, the text can still be cut/pasted into the subs, saving us rewriting them from scratch.

So @Friesen Eduard: or whoever, have at it!
