Good luck, my friend, thanks for getting involved with the transcription team!

Please check out the linguistic team guidelines, especially the general guidelines, which will facilitate the next steps in the transcription process !!!

Once im done I know I do not click the "mark transcription as complete" but I seem to be having issues exporting the transcription to here. What do I use for windows to open the file?

I'm not sure I understand the question, but Wordpad can read subtitle files, because it's a simple plain text file.

Once you're done with the transcription, all you need to do is to inform us so that the process can continue. No need to extract the subtitle file. You can add a comment in the notes if you have something to say about how you transcribed this or that sentence...

Hope this helps ! ;)

Ok, thanks for your hard work !!!

This project is now open for a first round of proofreading.

Knoxj15, if you're interested, you can check out how your transcription fares when they're compared to what we advocate in your guidelines :

- You can download the subtitles by clicking on transcribe, then on "export subtitles", and store them on your hard drive

- Go to a subtitle analysis tool, to which you will feed the subtitle file and it will tell you which lines, or strings as we call them, can be modified to fit the guidelines.

The more transcribers respect the guidelines, the faster those videos are eventually opened to translations !!

Thanks again, Knoxj15 !!
