notification of the meetings

Hello!
Sorry I missed the last LTI meeting through Teamspeak ... I'm wondering if we might get a notification of the upcoming events.

I know the next one will be on September the 10th from the name of the LT TS-channel! but sometimes I came to know it form the google group and others form posts in the fb group. Maybe, just creating a thread for the meetings here and updating it by replaying with a new post before each meeting, we'll easily add that thread to our favorites and being notified.

Hey Diana, that's right, maybe we need to send a little email the day before to remind everyone to be there

About our calendar : at the top of the page, right under the Linguistic Team International Logo, you have a menu bar with the following buttons:

Portal - Forum.... and pow, Calendar is there !

Well. I suppose there has been some redesign of the forum. I'm sure I used the Calendar before.
But I cannot find it anymore.
The question is: where is the Calendar now?

I'm so glad you're asking about this, Dmitry!

Along with some other things that were hardly being made use of at the time, the Calendar item was removed from the main menu a while back (maybe a year ago?) to make it easier for newcomers to figure out how to find their language section, plug themselves in and get active, without so many distractions. Since you've brought it up, I've re-enabled the menu item for it and will populate it with the next several meeting events.

As a side note, the upcoming LTI Member Portal will make it much easier for everyone to keep track of any &/or all events set by any of the language teams & global support groups. It will also help relieve the forum of some of the extras we've had to stuff into it, due to not have a supporting website.

@Dmitry Nasedkin If you want to be notified about the meetings, you can subscribe to LTI's Facebook Group here. Usually, someone creates an event for the meeting so that members are notified.
