If you are more leaned to an academic approach, I would suggest to study and learn with the available materials, especially TVP's. All you have to do for that is refer to their website.
Though, do not expect to find "academic-grade" material for such a wild subject, at least, as far as I know.

However, one can also learn while translating/proofreading these materials at the same time, and that is what we do here at LTI.
I suggest you pick your most skilled languages and introduce yourself in the respective forum's subsections. Hopefully a team language coordinator can pick you up from there.

Have a bit of patience though, some teams are more active than others, while others are simply inactive.

To supplement what Zedom has shared with you, LTI's focus is specifically to transcribe & translate original Resource Based Economy-focused materials from English into all other languages. However, your introduction messages in some of the language team sections implies that you were expecting to translate into English instead, so I'm not quite sure how to best guide you at the moment, at least within LTI. Please make us aware if you would like to help translate from English to another language where you already have fluency, and I will be fully at your service.

As for your desire for a multi-lingual group discussion, the closest that exists to that is likely the TVP International Facebook Group, but be aware that it requires discussions to be in English. It serves as the 'global' TVP FB group, but there are also 'official' TVP Support groups set up for a variety of languages, with each managed by a TVP Support "Point of Contact" (someone who has moved through a lengthy orientation course to learn more deeply about The Venus Project).
