Excellent, Jorge! I needed more to do. :giggle:

When posting proofreading corrections to be made to Pootle items, please try to provide the actual string location found in the upper, left corner of the string block. It will look something like
...\aog_2012_pt1.htm html.body.div.p:623

When working to correct items from the back-end of Pootle, these location markers significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to find the offending text. :drinks:

Most of these corrections have been made. A couple of them either could not be verified (I couldn't locate the issue) or I found the original to be correct.

The two instances of 'longterm' needed to be handled two different ways. The first was a compound use of the term, requiring a dash between the two parts (part-time), while the second required the space you suggested.

The instance where the word 'effect' was suggested as needing to be 'affect' actually needed 'affect' to be plural. I adjusted 'effect' to 'affects' as a result.

All of the adjustments should appear within all language areas as soon as Pootle completes the server refresh I am about to run for the project. Any issues that still exist after that will need to be re-reported along with their string locations as mentioned in my last reply. :kiss:

Yes, all typos will be corrected in Pootle and sent to PJ to correct the original. There is a team of English Proofreaders reviewing the whole document these days too and their corrections will be changed in those locations and posted here so the translators can be aware of it. Dn't stop yourself from posting the ones you find, even so. They might miss them, we never know :thumbup:

Hi, all. First of all, congratulations for the idea of a typo-related thread! I found a typo in E:\a\aog_2012_pt1.htm html.body.div.p:834 in this sentence:

"...when the universal integrity of such physically rooted, causal reasoning
and validation methods are applied to all aspects of our lives". If "applied" refers to "the universal integrity", the verb should be "is applied", not "are applied". If it refers to the "validation methods", I think you should change the structure of the sentence. Thanks!

Removal of either of the repeated phrases left it somewhat convoluted, so I re-wrote the entire sentence as:

Good catch! It now reads as:

I would say it would make your lives easier if you just proofread in the sheet, and later when everything is proofread and reproofread, we can go through all the corrections and post them here in one post so the teams can make sure they didn't miss those corrections during their translation proofreadings. Many translators don't follow this thread nor the Error Report section in general. I'll post it in our facebook group to give a hand on that awareness. Maybe that new info feature on the top of the forum could contain information as such, what do you think @Ray: ?
