In my own words, PJ would put much value in the credentials (education and certification) of a medical doctor prior to him conducting a major surgery. But he would not see the same value in educating someone in economics or social sciences if the education in those fields does not result in positive difference for the world's social structure and organization. One could say that the substance is in seeing where the benefit lies. Is there a benefit to peoples' wellbeing or is it only to profits.
While "credentialism" ignores those ways of evaluating relevance, and blindly tells people that education is needed for them to have any say in, for example, social sciences.

The new followers of religions or followers of ways of organizing society didn't come up with those religions or ways by themselves. Somebody else did. It's a really nice thing to throw at narrow-minded people who always seek to, by imposing their own sense of impossibility, limit other peoples perspectives. They're defending something their environment taught them, which they never analyzed deeply, nor thought through, to begin with.
2) It means that "USA will probably start invading other countries well before it (USA) runs out of oil".
