Great news Julie!! Great effort there too! I need to move my butt and do some timeshifting as the scale is showing the videos that are still left weighting to my side ^^

Final Review Begins

Okay, I'm gonna take my time and try to redeem myself after all those errors that were reported on 'Defining Peace'.

Reminder about new comma rule

As I begin the Final Review, I have added this note to the notepad and just wanted to remind everyone about our latest comma rule decision:

Final Review begun 5/23/2012 (Di Kruse)

Note to translators about commas: I am returning commas at the ends of the strings per the latest decision from the Ling Team. Although our Guidelines state that for English subtitles, omitting commas at the ends of the strings is best because of a natural pause that occurs there, our translators communicate that the commas help them understand English sentence structure and phrasing and having them there facilitates translation.

Need another opinion

Hey, Team,

I'm almost done with the Final Review on this one, but would like your opinion on these lines:

23:39.707
23:42.152
You could present new and more efficient technologies
23:42.292
23:47.133
such as hydroponics, MagLev trains, systems nanotech and alike (Please note that I changed this. Although I hear James say 'alike' I really think he means 'the like' not 'alike.'

I have changed it to 'the like' because 'alike' doesn't really make sense, but I'm sure he says' alike'. Would someone else listen and share thoughts).

I've already noted it in the notepad.
Thanks. ((hugs))
Di

Final Review COMPLETED

WooooHooo...THIS is fantastic! I love what James has to say about the mess we've made of education in this world! It makes me cry  but it's a good cry :).
Ready to go, unless there's a problem with my previous note.
Love to all,
Di

I think "and the like" would flow more naturally given the context, so it's all good to me!

The video is now open for translations. As Di mentioned, please check out the notes and shout if you object to anything :)
