[u]This is one of the reasons I'm looking forward to Nomada's tutorial on VSS. I've only used SW and Aegisub and I've not experienced this problem when uploading files to dotSUB. Having to do this manually cannot be a timesaving tool. [/u]


Transferring from VSS is simple if there's no transcription already in DotSub. It's just replacing it that I can't do. (sorry, haven't got the hang of 'quoting' yet :-)

There is a way to delete the transcription in DotSub and replace it with the VSS version. I just don't know how. Someone did it for me last time. :dunno:

With Aegisub & Subtitle Workshop, I could just upload the subs and it would replace what was already in dotsub.

Di has access to deleting transcriptions and all language coords in the TZMOfficial dotsub account also have, which puts some risk into the results of what we do. Would be practical if more of the english proofers have this hability too, as they are proofing offline.
