Italian Subtitles

Done the Italian translation with timestamps. I checked it against the original video and it seems well in sync. I would say it is ready to go without further ado, as I am sure of it and can guarantee its integrity, but I know you guys prefer to triple check everything :-)

Has the english transcription been finished, proofread and time-shifted already? :O
Davtam, it's usually a good idea to wait until the english phase is 100% completed to avoid possible misundertood words, bad spelling or incorrect grammar

I understand your point Sue. In this particular case, since this is a very short piece and I am quite fluent in English (been living both in USA and UK), I watched the video in its entirety and checked that the English transcription matched the speech word by word while translating. To be honest, I could have done it even without transcription altogether.

Lately I am quite busy with my university course and don't have much time to dedicate to translating materials so have to treasure those few moments of free time when I feel the impetus to give a hand with particular contents and, being one who likes to do things properly, I am taking care to do a very good job. At the end of the day what I care about is to make Jacque Fresco's ideas accessible, in the shortest time possible, to those of my native language who don't understand English.

So I just reviewed this and while although a very nicely produced vid the subs are not up to LTI English Dept standards: there are several grammar errors and also the subs could be better synced in multiple places.

@Ray: it you want to open this up for me I will clean it up.

And the Merry Mythmas Marathon ends with this one!

And what a finale, a real train wreck! Had to re-do it from top to bottom, timestamp-shifting, splitting and adjusting many 100+ character lines, and other cleanup. I'm just glad it was a relatively short vid! It's cleaned up real nice now.

Revised SRT and analysis attached, ready for push out and FR.

This is a superb vid, albeit staged by the presenter, in an easy set-up/knockdown Q&A interview style. The production was very polished overall, and Jacque is, well- quintessential Jacque. :smiley:
