TZM Smartphone App

This project is now closed - No further translations are needed. Big thanks to everyone who worked on it!

Top Priority for TZM:
The new smartphone app's menu system is now open for translation within Pootle. More may be added to the project at a later date, depending on how well (quickly & accurately) this initial menu translation project progresses.

Note: PJ has specifically requested the following languages as an ideal start, so I will need to wait for his reply before confirming that the app has been set up to handle more languages than this initial list.
This one requires expediency, so they can quickly release version 2 of the app with all of the translations included (Version 1 is only available in English, as the initial public test of the app).

Update: The app can ONLY handle the languages listed below. As a result, we have removed the project from all other languages in Pootle so no one outside of these languages wastes their time on it.

I want to ask how should I deal with the sign "\n"? Should I keep it or just ignore it?

Those are line return markers that were not expected to survive the conversion into Pootle.
Since they did, you can safely ignore those (not include them), as long as you duplicate the formatting of the English version (each word or phrase on separate lines).

If it proves necessary in any of the languages, I'll adjust them to separate strings.

The following two lines could be hard to understand for non-technical people:
Back Arrow: Return to prior screen, back
Forward arrow: Moves to prior screen, forward

I would suggest "Moves to the last/next screen" though it is not 100% correct it is easier to understand. I guess the Forward arrow is only shown or clickable if you did go back before. So it is not necessary to explain it that technical.

Also you should decide whether to write "arrow" with a capital letter or not.

@sydstf:
I found out that if you do not use the "\n" sign all text is written in one line if you go back to the page you translated before. So you should use the "\n" sign. Doing it that way you ensure that there are separate lines at the end.

This would be the way to go:

After ossi11111's explanation, I think it's best to separate each string because I'm not sure if other translators will feel strange when seen the sign "\n". I'm not sure if other translators are technicians who can understand it's meaning and how to deal with it.

Fixed.
Each menu item is now in its own separate string, so none of the /n symbols should be in use.

Albert, here are your initial translations, rescued from the wreckage.

Since German & Spanish were already finished with their translations, I did not update them to the new spacing.

Romanian:
Batky had the first couple of strings done, but the /n symbols were not preserved, causing the Romanian translations to pull up into a single, unreadable line without spaces (as mentioned by Ossi). as a result, it is now only showing the very first string completed. Marcel, I made a backup of the strings you completed, but I'm not sure how much use it would be to have to break up something like "AJUTORINREGISTRAREAPRECIEREMAI MULT", which is what the second string ended up recording. In case you would prefer to Copy/Paste the two longer translations into their now-separated strings, here they are for your convenience:

Is the app only for iOS or for Android also? We did only find an app for Android that was from 2012 and seemed not related to the text in Pootle at all. We want to look at the app to make sure we translate it in a way that makes sense.

So does the app exist for Android too and how is it called in the app store exactly?

Edit: Ray answered me already. It is only for iOS and "coming soon" for Android.

For clarity, the older 2012 app was made by a TZM/TVP supporter (and any 'team' that formed around that project effort). This is a brand new smartphone app produced directly by TZM.

As Ossi mentioned, only iOS is covered, so far, but an Android version is being worked on. I have no information yet how long it will be before that is released.
