Multi-Language Glossary (Drop-Box)

This is the thread where all teams should put the links to your own language teams glossaries.

The individual language's glossaries will be very important to help build the GLOBAL GLOSSARY where terms that ever gave any trouble to translate can be consulted and guide all teams into a global coherence of the terms that will redesign a global society. Oh, Wow...oh, wow! I love all the 'drops in the box' that have happened since I left the meeting today. WooooooHooooooooo!

My question now is WHAT is the best way (technologically speaking) to go about identifying which terms from the language teams are in the English Glossary already, so that I can enter in the terms which are NOT, rather than searching each one separately :bawl:

. If I must, I will do it that way, but it will be time consuming. If there's a way to do this more speedily, I can then spend my time working on definitions, explanations, synonyms, etc. Calling all you techies! :help:

I am all excited about Global Glossary (a lexicon for changing the world, one translation at a time). :loveya:

Just peeking into the first two links (Bulgarian & Spanish) shows one that is in 'added' order and another in alphabetical (easy extension into alphanumerical is assumed) order.

Barring any suggestions of a more technical solution, the alphabetical ones should be quite simple to go through and compare with the English one (also in alphanumerical). For the others, there are some programs that are designed to take lists and reorder them in some way, usually alphabetically. As an example, Open Office supports this function natively. Just paste the list into a new Writer document, select all of the text and go to Tools > Sort to bring up the function's options screen. :cow:

I will give it some cogitation and see what I can come up with. Oooooo...I love these learning experiences, but I'm excited to work with the Glossary more diligently now that we're moving forward (good title?) :giggle:
