The Facebook "recommend" and "add a comment" feature is not working.

The Facebook "recommend" and "add a comment" feature in the bottom of forum threads is not working for me. That could be handy to make information abundant on that social network about the different projects/topics. If there is a twitter button possibility, would also be great.

Could that 'bug' be a consequence of the update of forum extensions, @Ray: ? It shows up slightly cut in the bottom after clicking to recommend, and it does not give feedback after we comment nor shows up in my facebook after I add the comment.

That is part of the AddThis collection of social network sharing icons?

If so, does it open up a somewhat large popup window for you to add text above the page you are looking to share to your wall?
If not, please try another browser to see if it's just an issue within the browser you're using to surf the forum. I just tried it with Chrome and it does bring up that secondary window for me to fill in and submit to FaceBook.

Worked now, in Firefox. The button becomes 'recommended' after I click and it opens a box indeed. The sending button, after writing in the box, is what wasn't working. It did now. Thanks :)

Ah, ok. So maybe it was just a temporary glitch.

That was really helpful. I wasn't even aware of this feature. Is there any way I can recommend a post straight into the LTI FB Group instead of my wall?

In the pop-up window I described above, just above where it says "Say something about this ...", you should see a drop-down function that says something like "Post to my wall" by default.
You can click on that and change it to send the page link reference to a friend's wall, to any group to which you belong, etc.. ^^
