And I have just completed Vixi's now. :dance: I totally agree that there needs to be discussion on how to best define/explain some of the terms I see, especially in cases where there is no context given. Sometimes, I'm just puzzled--like how do I define 'America'? ?( The note says 'usually translated as the United States." That almost sounds like a good rule for the Guidelines (for proofreaders?). :dunno:

Do you think we have all the glossaries from all teams now? Should we put out a shout on FB to all Lang Coordinators to be sure that they have dropped their glossary links in the drop-box (thread)? Once we get them all combined, I'll start tackling definitions, synonyms, etc. where I feel comfortable about it.

We need good discussions to make sure our glossary is really correct in explaining the IDEAS of TZM & TVP. I see some new terms from TVP that have been added, like TVP Core: Linguistic Team, Marketing Team, etc. :S --important to collaborate! Hey, hey--good practice for the future, too! :rolleyes:

All you suggested sounds like a very good approach to me. I have to go out now but when i get back I can do the facebook post about it, if you haven't by then. I will remind that all teams should put there their glossaries (no, i don't think they all did, but there aren't many so organized teams either), and that we will keep an open discussion around how to translate specific terms and which situations to add to the guidelines etc, asking for the participation of everyone. This discussion can take place in the glossary section of the forum, right?

Here is the link to the Russian Glossary, reminding me that it has to be updated since we started proofreading of VP site. We also have a draft copy in Google docs, but preliminary work has to be done to bring the items into this neet Glossary: ;)
