PS - Timeshifting looks really good already so I think it will be done in no time. And I personally believe that once someone has taken a little look at the timeshifting, that it's ready for a final review :).

I see that this transcript runs at 193 words per minute in average with is off the charts high. (An decent average is more like 140 words per minute)

So what I'd like to do is for us to exceptionally forget about the 70 character per string rule on this one because I know for a fact that 1,4 second strings are just unusable for French or Greek translators for example.

I think I'm gonna do pretty much the same for the September 14th interview as well.

What do you guys think?

It seems like a good approach to me Bruno. I will take that timeshifting :seymour:

Where I come from we have lots of bullfights on the streets... and people say, about solving a problem: "when we grab a bull we do it by the horns :cowpoke: " It's such a primitive way of thinking. When we face a problem we analyze all the factors that influence the possible results and focus on those that we can control, meaning - have some influence on them, towards the result we wish to achieve. :seymour:

And if the point is to show determination, this simple and nice quote, like Di suggested: "I'm going in" from Luke on Star Wars, it's really inspiring. But maybe not the best to be used by a bullboy :giggle:

Hi!

What did you thought of these strings, Julie and Rakosnicek? They are really fast and I wonder if instead of patching them in a surely unsuccessful way, if we shouldn't shorten the text and not transcribe what they say literally?
In the notes pad I have put the strings in the way they were before and below in the resulting way after I tried to improve them. The numbers in front of each string are given by the timeshifting software and I have added them because they are important for a better analysis. They are the number of characters in the string and the number of charaters per second (NC / CS).

strings 02:01 to 02:16

I re-uploaded the subs on the video working location so we could have a sight of the result after timeshifting.

Anyone else has a suggestion to what to do on this situations?

UPDATE: Rakosnicek, this is amazingly well transcribed!!! It is a hell of a hard to transcribe video and every string that I see bigger than 70 characters, when I try to analyze it together with the strings on the side to restructure them... I can't find no alternative, because the one you found seems to be the best :thumbup: great job there!!!
