Suggestion of presentation for your videos table on the LTPMS

Hey guys, as you are aware, we are trying to keep track of all videos that are being worked on or finished for all language teams.

The way we set out to do that is through the google site that we call LTPMS (Linguistic Team Project Management System) in which a page is set up for every ling team to report their progress.

This is where this thread comes in. At the bottom of this post, you'll find a pattern for a table that you can insert in your linguisteam team page if you choose to, which will allow you to keep track of your translation projects easily.

Here are the steps you need to follow to insert this table :

Go to the page corresponding to your ling team from this location : Moved Temporarily
Log in to Google using the button at the very bottom of the page. (It's very small and poorly located, but if you scroll at the end of your page, you should find it !)
Once you're logged in, you should see a new button bar at the top of the page, allowing you to change the page's contents.
Click on "Modify page", the appearance of the page will change slightly and will let you insert anything you want.
The table below is written in html code. To access the html editor, you should have an "html" button on one of the button bars at the top. Once you click on it, a white box should appear.
You can then copy/paste the contents of the quote below. This is the empty table, with all the links to the relevant locations on dotSUB. The rest is up to you !!!!
Once the content is copied, you can click on "Update", and the system will take you back to the page. You can then click on the "save" button on the top right corner of the window to save the result.
To edit the table, you can click on any cell and edit it any way you want.

To me, it seems that a well-structured Google Doc works best for managing the flow & state of ongoing and completed projects. Plus, they can be easily integrated into the member portal without forcing any kind of 'new approach' on a team (i.e. as long as the GSpreadsheet continues to be maintained, those changes automatically appear in the portal).
